Do roasted peanuts cause acne? Probably, most of us keep seeking answers to this simple question. Conclusive answers are not still available, linking dietary habits as a cause of acne in you. Seeking a definite answer to this nagging question is to turn a blind eye on the entire issue of acne.

Acne occurs on your body due to a variety of reasons and is most probably linked to your genetic disposition. Acne is also determined by the physiology of sebum secretion, endocrinal control of sebaceous activity (hormonal effects on the sebaceous glands), hygiene and medication. However, dietary intake of some food items may also affect the way acne and eczema, appear on the body. Consuming roasted pea nuts is known to cause serious allergy in many children and teens, all over the world. This incidence is probably due to a toxin called aflatoxin, a class of mould toxins.

Serious allergies resulting out of roasted pea nuts are the known precursors for eczema breakouts in children and teens. Though, acne does not erupt, as a direct cause of eating roasted peanut, it may emerge as the secondary infection, once the eczema is out of control. Eczema is characterized by scaling, thickened patches of skin that can become red and fissured. It may also appear as tiny blisters (called vesicles) that rupture, weep, and crust over. The most troublesome and prevalent symptom of eczema is itching, which may be constant.

Acne though is not caused directly by eating roasted pea nuts, is a probability, if the eczema is not controlled by drugs. When eczema blisters become large, they make block the skin pores, which subsequently create an artificial oil lake in the affected area. The excess oil, thus collected will result in bacterial invasions and subsequent inflammation. It means a person who has an outbreak of eczema, is under double jeopardy. He may be required to treat two skin conditions at one go, which might become too painful and cumbersome.

\"Roasted peanuts cause acne\", is a topic of intense debate, some still argue against its disadvantages in diets, while the others restrict their viewpoints on eczema, a direct cause of eating too much roasted peanuts.
